To farewell Lowdnes in his final race as a full time Supercar driver, the #888 Autobarn ZB livery in stunning metallic gold and black was created to specially replicate the first ever Triple Eight livery Lowndes raced in 2005-06! The impressive livery was a surprise ' even to Craig Lowndes and was finished off with a special gold helmet and race suit for the veteran's 294th and final Championship event as a full-time driver. He even received an honour guard formed by other teams and drivers leading to the grid for the Sunday race.
