This Mini 4WD model's design depicts a mid-ship racing sports car style with closed gull wing doors. The model’s name inspired by the Portuguese word "estoura" which means "explode" in English

The MA (Midship AERO) Chassis has its motor in the center and features a design that focuses on achieving outstanding aerodynamic performance. It has a gear ratio of 3.5:1, 6 individual rollers, a rear skid bar and other speedy features developed thanks to years of design experience. The single piece monocoque frame also guarantees that assembling and keeping the car well-maintained is a task that can be performed by beginners and veteran racers alike!

This Mini 4WD racer depicts the style of a new racing car with front fender and two split rear wings. The V shaped body gives an image of a raptor’s beak, which is also the origin of the model name. The original body is mounted on the quick and adaptable VZ chassis.

VZ Chassis
The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.

Rev It Up With Aero
2012 marks the 30th anniversary of Tamiya's Mini 4WD products and the new REV Series has been launched to commemorate this milestone. The first machine in this series is the Aero Avante and as the name implies, the body features an aerodynamic-themed redesign of the iconic Avante. The chassis itself has also been engineered with aerodynamics in mind, with the monocoque main frame featuring a ground-effect design with channels to ensure smooth air flow.

Avante Pedigree
The Mini 4WD Avante Jr. has its roots in the high-performance R/C 4WD racing buggy Avante. The body design features a wedge-shaped nose section, sleek body lines, and a large rear wing, and these features had been carried over to other variants such as the Super Avante, Avante Mk.II, and Avante X. The latest design to incorporate this Avante pedigree is the Aero Avante.

This assembly kit creates a stylish Mini 4WD car known as the Cross Spear 02, a close relation to our earlier Cross Spear 01. The one-of-a-kind compact, lightweight design with a smooth, lowdown look, its cockpit shifted forward, and side trellis sections is the brainchild of Japanese designer Takayuki Yamazaki. It is based upon the compact race-focussed VZ chassis, with red Y-spoke wheels and super hard small diameter low-profile tires that minimize bounce after jumps.

Separate parts are utilized in depictions of headlights and taillights for an extra-detailed touch. The deep black of the body is contrasted in style by a red marking scheme (created using included metallic stickers) and red A-spoke wheels. Low-profile tires round off the racy look.

A piggy-esque shad of pink is used on the open top Super Astute body, while stickers feature a host of logos, patterns and more.

Super-II Chassis
The Super-II chassis offers impressive toughness on an adaptable frame. Here, it appears in white resin and is matched with fluorescent pink battery holder, rear stay and rollers.
