Originally, the Kyalami 9H Endurance Skyline Turbo was build for the October 3, 1982 WEC Japan 6-hour endurance race held at Fuji Speedway. Unfortunately, the vehicle was not completed in time to enter the race, and instead first entered the 9-hour endurance Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in South Africa that November. A further setback, the car retired from the race after going off-course, and ended up retired in other races as well, typically due to heat-related trouble. Regardless, to many fans the car has remained a memorable racing Skyline.

This kit builds the Skyline Turbo Gr. C as it appeared in the Kyalami 9-hour endurance race.

The first Skyline GT-R, known by the internal Nissan designation of PGC10, was introduced on 4 February 1969 and was exclusive to the Japanese Nissan dealership network called Nissan Prince Store when the Prince company was integrated into Nissan operations in 1966. It was available originally as a four-door sedan after a public debut at the October 1968 Tokyo Motor Show. It was advertised alongside the Nissan R380 racecar to showcase the Skyline's racing heraldry. It was equipped with the 2.0 L DOHC S20 Inline-six engine rated at 119 kW (162 PS; 160 hp) at 7,000 rpm and 176 Nm at 5,600 rpm. Power was delivered to the rear wheels by a 5-speed manual transmission and the car was equipped with a limited-slip differential. The first Skyline GT-R rode on a semi-trailing arm strut suspension. The braking system consisted of disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. It was available in a coupe body style in March 1971 with the chassis code KPGC10.

  • 1/24 Fairlady 300ZR '86
The Nissan Fairlady 300ZR from 1986 joins the "Tohge" model-kit series from Fujimi! It features a newly designed chassis equipped with a four-wheel independent alignment adjustment mechanism. The suspension structure of the chassis is a newly molded part; various styling can be set by steering and alignment gimmicks! The four-wheel independent stepless vehicle height adjustment mechanism and four-wheel independent stepless camber adjustment mechanism can express the expansion and contraction of the four-wheel independent suspension, so it is possible to create a diorama with posture change. Smooth adjustment is realized by using the conventional polycap material for the stepless slide structure of the vehicle height and camber. Since it is a gimmick that can be adjusted after completion, this classic car will have a place on your shelf for a long time!
